everything feels so right. like it's all falling into place.
i couldn't be happier right now. (except for the fact
that i am feeling tired all of the time. damn it, oh well)
i am now a co-director in student leadership for
freshmen welcome week, i just found out a couple
nights ago! the dean called me and i almost cried
right there on the phone when she told me. i'm so so
excited!!!!!!! i was asked by the head of activities and
leadership to apply for marketing and publicity co-director
(my roomie and i are going to try to do it together, how
fun!)...everything is coming together. i am thrilled.

this photo is from last july...they're bigger now...
9 and 10 pounds instead of 4 and 5. they are so
adorable...they bring so much joy.

i will always have a dog in my life...they make me
so happy.

i'm taking a break from vox. hardly
anyone comments and i feel like
i'm talking to nothing. i'll be on
occasionally for a quicky update
but that's it.

so...my new year's eve was quite boring.
and i liked it that way, really. sleeping in,
wearing sweats all day (with a just a hint
of mascara), watching movies, eating good
food (like honeybaked turkey and chocolate
lava cakes), and ending the last few moments
of 2006 with some champagne and ryan
seacrest. (not exactly my man of choice...
lol. but he's a great host!)

all in all, extremely laidback.

second semester starts in a week. i'm usually
totally psyched...but sadly, not this year. i
have no idea why...but i'm not looking forward
to it at all. (except for seeing my girls. and
maybe some boys. ;))

oh well...i don't need to think about that right now.
it's 2007! goodbye 2006...i think i grew up the most
last year [<--so weird saying that!]. so much
happened, good and bad, and i'm a better person
because of it all.

With my family. i'm not going out this year. i'm going to
spend some time at home...movies, good food and drink,
laidback and relaxing. it should be great. :)

i kinda missed xanga. a lot. so i went back.
but i'm not leaving here. no no no. i will update
frequently, i promise. :)

christmas shopping this week has been quite fun.
at moments, quite crowded...but uber fun. i just
have to get a couple more things for my mom at
ZGallerie (so very swanky, yet so very unique and
such a fun, interesting place), and i'm done. i'm
going super early in the morning...people in southern
california seem to have a hard time getting up early
on saturday mornings. ha ha. i'm so taking advantage.

my little dogs came back from the groomers, and their
fur got cut waaaaaay to short. so sad. i'm hoping it
grows fast. :(
